Who is Virtualtech?
As we start our 11th year in business, I thought I would use this month's newsletter to introduce you to the entire Virtualtech staff and to highlight the services we offer.
Virtualtech was founded in 1997, back in the days of the Web's infancy. We decided to focused on one thing, and one thing only... to provide clients with a Web presence that would generate tangible results. We understood that the key to success on the Web was not going to be achieved by fancy programming, or entertaining site visitors with flashy animations, multimedia, and games. While sites like that are all great fun (and they do have their place), they don't necessarily sell your product/service and that is the purpose of most websites.
Getting results for our clients is what we focus on. Our sites are professional in design and functionality, and focus on your company, not the latest "trick' that our designers just read about. We have those capabilities, though, when needed. Your site is a marketing tool and Virtualtech never forgets that.

Women Leaders of Wisconsin Conference
I am very excited to let you know that I will be presenting at the Second Annual Women Leaders of Wisconsin Conference! This great event will take place on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, downtown Appleton.
The event includes seminars and workshops in topics specific to today’s professional women, a great buffet lunch, thousands of dollars in door prizes, and a business tradeshow with dozens of local businesses and organizations on display.

Registering a Domain Name? Use Caution Network Solutions Using Questionable Tactic to Sell More Domain Names
As of January 8, 2008, if a user does a search on the Network Solutions website for a domain name, Network Solutions immediately registers the domain in their own name. If the user then goes to a discount registrar to register the domain, it shows as unavailable. The user must then either not buy the domain, or go back to Network Solutions and pay their $35/year fee.
