CAUTION: No Call List Scam This notice has nothing to do with website or Internet marketing, but a client shared it with us, and I wanted to share it with you.
Apparently there are people who are making a living from suing companies for calling them because they are on the "no call" list.
This is what they are doing. They are requesting information from a vendor via email, fax, or phone. They are providing a mailing address but no phone number. Like any sales person would, the vendor looks up the persons phone number and then calls them to see if they can be of any other assistance. After they make the call, the vendor is then sued for calling someone on the "no call" list.
Apparently most cases are settling out of court, but still, this is not something a small business can afford.
Each company will decide how or if they want to do anything, but Virtualtech has decided that unless we are given a phone number, we are not following up with a phone call. |

Curb Appeal, located in Appleton, Wisconsin, installs continuous concrete landscape edging, also known as landscape curbing. Concrete edging is an affordable way to beautify your landscaping with a maintenance free product. It can be installed around trees, flowerbeds, sidewalks and just about anywhere you like.Virtualtech recently completed a website redesign project for Curb Appeal. Toys for Tots is again collecting new toys. Please drop off a new, unwrapped toy for a child (remember the older children, too) to receive this Christmas.
The U.S. Marine Corps and Salvation Army will take care of the gift wrapping and distribution. Toys donated in your area will go to children in your area. Toys will be wrapped and distributed before Christmas.
